JODI KELLY
Grew up in the country where she became the first ever female Sports Reporter for the Shepparton News. Finished her sports journalism career at The Herald Sun before having her daughter.
In between Shepparton and The Herald Sun, lived and worked in Cairns, married a US Airforce Pilot, lived in the USA (did lots of travel while there) and then returned home to freelance for a while, prior to landing her dream job at The Herald Sun.
Jodi got pregnant the old IVF way and then temporarily retired from journalism to concentrate on being a mum for a while. Then she purchased a Children's Clothing Boutique for some 3 and a bit years before selling it and divorcing her husband (but still maintains a lovely friendship with him).
Then she went on to do a bit of freelance Public Relations work and last year was the Tournament Manager for Women's Golf Victoria. After leaving there, Jodi decided to never work for anyone else ever again and is now owner operator of her own lifestyle choice business - a successful Dog Grooming Salon.
Personally, after divorcing Jodi has lead and interesting and varied love life - meeting potential new suitors the old fashioned way, through an Introduction Agency (which was given as a gift!) and most successfully via online dating.
Presently dating a gorgeous creature called Andrew and hopes this one may infact go the distance??
And now,Jodi can't wait to sink her teeth into some juicy topics for BalanceOnline.
